Nathan and his wife, Lesley, moved to Brooklyn in 2008 with a great desire to serve the city. Since the summer of 2008, Nathan has been working as a science teacher in the NYC public school system through the NYC Teaching Fellows program. Since August of 2017, he has also served as a chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserves and is currently assigned to the 11th Wing at Joint Base Andrews in Washington D.C. Prior to serving as pastor of Cornerstone Church, Nathan served as an elder at the Gallery Church of Manhattan and has also worked in Bay Ridge to mobilize volunteer teams to serve the community. Nathan and Lesley have three children, Sophia, Caleb, and Margaret. Lesley currently provides oversight for women’s discipleship at Cornerstone Church.
Trey and his wife Caitlin moved to Bay Ridge from Athens, GA in October 2012, after sensing God calling them to come and serve at Cornerstone. Trey works as a conductor for the Long Island Rail Road and is Cornerstone’s unofficial resident chef. Both Trey and Caitlin are University of Georgia grads, where they were involved with several musical groups, and they have two music-loving boys, Aidan and Andrew. In addition to regularly singing with the worship band, Caitlin currently provides oversight for Foundations, our Cornerstone Children’s Program.
